Signs your ex wants you back

So you and your ex have broken up and it seems like they may want you back but you are not sure whether you are reading the signs right or whether you are just being strung along. There are certain sure signs that will tell you whether your ex wants you back for real, signs that you can trust. However, there may be some signs that appear hopeful but may not be the real thing and could lead to bitter disappointment. Some of the things that your ex partner may do or say seem like signals that they want to get back with you but it could be more wishful thinking on your part than real signs of them wanting you back. For example, your ex talks about the break up and how they regret that the break up happened –it does not necessarily mean that they want to get back together with you. It could be a way for them to get over it and talking to people about it helps. The fact that they may care about how you are and how you are coping with the split also does not mean that they want you back. It could just mean that they are dealing with issues of guilt. If your ex has contacted you to talk about practical matters it does not necessarily mean that they want you back. It could be that they have a real reason for seeing you like having to sort out forwarding of mail, paying of bills etc. Even if your ex has been sleeping with you – it is not a sure sign of them wanting you back! They could just be aching and trying to deal with it through sex and may just be using you to that extent. Having sex is not the same as having a relationship. Dealing with issues of the heart does not always involve logic and common sense, so how will you really know that your ex wants you back?
